I'll most likely focus on fantasy for the NPC sprites I make, but these can be used in any type of game. You can check out my TAB Project, though, it consists of tall sprites used in Schlangans generator based on the DF DLC & WaywardMartians edits of the DF sprites. In the end I adjust the skin right below the hair with some “shadow” pixels. Hine Sprites are my own take on taller sprites ( hi ddeno ne becomes Hine, smart right), instead of editing MV's default sprite to be taller. In the end I add some bright white highlights (You can’t see them that well because of the light color) and add it to the base. At the moment I have thrown my love and devotion at hiddenones Hine sprites, so if and when new stuff appears here, it will probably be related to those. Hine Sprites are my own take on taller sprites ( hi ddeno ne becomes Hine, smart right), instead of editing MVs default sprite to be taller. The brightest on the upper left, everything else slightly less strong shaded with that color. Now it’s time to add the highlights following the same scheme. These are tall character templates based. Thank you for all your hard work by the way, this is a really nice set of resources. Of course many of the things are not just useful for MV, but if you are only interested in this style, it’s easier to learn from examples using it. Im just double checking but its all good if I do edits to the tall sprite templates Im going to be making running and jumping and just about every pose under the sun that I think I need :D I wont repost them anywhere without your express permission. Since I haven’t seen a MV specific Sprite tutorial so far, I decided to write one on my own. They get darker on the right and at the lower and and the lower parts even get black outlines, no matter which color the hair originally is! In this step I also shaded the darkest parts. Tall Mack/MV Character Templates I made these for my own use but thought someone else might be interested as well. Now that RPG Maker MV is out we have a bunch of entirely new graphics to work with. Since our light source ist above our char and slightly on the left side, there the lines are the lightest. As second step I adjusted the colors on these lines in black, lighter and darker lines. As result the steps between the colors still fit well enough into the scheme, but have the tone I was looking for.Īs second step I added the outlines to the hair and divided it into the strains. Since I found no matching tone in the default sprites, I took the palette of the hair of another char and adjusted the hue, tone and brightness. On the right side of her head you see the palette I used for that. Its kinda difficult to make modern-based settings in a. Even if its a plain shirt, it would be great. also other suits, and ballgowns if you have the time.). Can anyone please do Modern Clothes (such as shirts, polo, jeans, dresses. To get the result we want, I at first roughly scribble the shape of the final hairstyle. Hello, I just recently switched from Ace to MV, and I immediately noticed the lack of modern clothes for MV.
